Silver brazing filler metals (BAg) are alloys made primarily of silver (Ag) and are commonly used to braze a wide range of materials, including stainless steel, steel components, and non-ferrous metals such as tungsten alloys, titanium alloys, tungsten carbide, diamond, and brass.                                               

These filler metals are generally classified into two groups: those that contain cadmium and those that are cadmium-free. The best choice depends on the work conditions and application requirements, including the desired mechanical properties and the brazing temperature.
